Welcome to Pease Boat Works & Marine Railway. Located on Mill Pond in picturesque Chatham, Massachusetts. We are just 1/2 nautical mile up the Mitchell River with easy access to Stage Harbor [chart] and Nantucket Sound.

We at Pease Boat Works & Marine Railway are dedicated to preserving the traditional skills of wooden boat building, repair, and restoration.

We believe much is to be learned from the past. A large part of our maritime story exists today because of sound, thoughtful and traditional building practices. We apply that history to all the new boats we build as well as those we seek to restore.

Coupled with a high degree of personal service, a talented and dedicated crew offers the full line of boatyard services geared toward making every aspect of your boat ownership safe and enjoyable.

Pease Introduces The Monomoy First Light

This new semi production center console couples our 25 years of custom boat building experience with the desire to offer a traditionally handsome vessel that is strong, fast, quiet, fuel efficient and also minimizes engine emissions.

Many people believe that a wooden built boat is the finest. We feel that the effort to integrate modern technology into this time tested construction yields the best boat you can buy.

Partners Brad Pease and Mike Pease and the entire crew at the boat yard welcome you and invite any questions you may have regarding our boats and our services. Please Email Us or telephone 508-945-7800.
